Nestled on a hillside overlooking the Mesogeian plain, Sparoza Garden is the headquarters of the Mediterranean Garden Society and one of the few historic gardens in Attica. Enjoy a guided tour, soak in the sights and sounds, or join us for one of our exciting seasonal events.

Sparoza is the private garden of the Mediterranean Garden Society and not open every day but we welcome members and non-members to book a place on one of our garden tours. Book your guided tour of Sparoza here.

PLANT & SEED FAIR
We hold a Plant and Seed Fair twice a year in April and November where members of the Mediterranean Garden Society and their friends can explore a range of unusual and exciting drought-tolerant plants propagated at Sparoza.

LECTURES
Join us at one of our series of lectures exploring the botanical treasures of the mountains of Greece.

VOLUNTEERING
Every Thursday morning during the gardening season the Sparoza volunteers meet and garden from 10 - 12.30. If you would like to volunteer at Sparoza please contact sparozavolunteers@gmail.com.

BOTANICAL ILLUSTRATION WORKSHOPS
Spend the morning in the garden at Sparoza soaking in the sights and learning to draw and paint plants en plein air, while creating a notebook of exquisite botanical moments. Materials and notebooks included.

FULL MOON PARTY
Every June we have a Full Moon party for members of the society to celebrate the end of the gardening season. This year's Full Moon Party will coincide with a Strawberry Moon (supermoon).
